KIRTS, John Franklin

John Franklin Kirts, 75, died at 10:20 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mabel Clark, Attica. He had been in failing health the past year and death was due to complications and infirmities of age.

Mr. Kirts was born October 27, 1868 in Indiana, son of Daniel and Sarah Riggs Kirts. He had spent his entire life in Attica and vicinity and was married to Matilda Swanson.

Surviving are two sons, Jacob of Williamsport and John of Lafayette; three daughters, Mrs. Clark at whose home he died, Mrs. Nellie Smith, Muncie and Mrs. Ruth Rater, Attica; five brothers, Will and Edward, Attica; James of Newtown and Avery and Charles of Lafayette; 26 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with burial in Riverside cemetery - kbz
